LEGO 4953: Creator Fast Flyers Build & Review

June 5, 2008

I built this 3-in-1 creator set last evening while wrapping up season 3 of Smallville and began watching season 4. It took me two  hours to make (312 pieces). The instructions were a little difficult at times. The final build is very rigid but at certain points in the build process.. the integrity was a bit flimsy and I had to keep putting pieces where they belonged because they kept falling off. Anyhow, the final product was worth all the hassle. This plane has actual landing gears, tires and the flaps/wings move freely. :D For $20, it’s very very much worth it, go out and get one today!

Bad-Ass Meter: 4.8/5 (I took some points off for the bad instructions and number of times i had to keep putting stuff back on because it kept falling off)

The Spada Codatronca TS Concept: Out Of This World!

June 5, 2008

That’s right.. that’s a digital speed display on the top of the back bumper. lol. The faster it goes.. the less your chances of ever seeing that rear end again.

Paolo Spada and his father Ercole Spada (who also worked on Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat and Lancia) got together and created Spadaconcept, an italian company that would later create this 600hp, 340km/h beast.
