I got this set on sale from KB Toys a month or so ago and almost forgot to review it. Well, its never too late to put it up so here it is. The set comes with 3 mini figures. The first being Bane, who gets a sick looking motorcycle and rocket action. The second is the Riddler, who gets a glow in the dark jet-pack and the last is Batman himself, which is cool any day of the week. The set also comes with the Bat-Tank obviously, which moves like a real tank does and fires a rocket. There are also machine guns and a satellite on top of a watch tower and gated area which you build as well. I’m guessing it’s the bad guys hideout. The set only cost me $40 and contains 645 pieces. Total time spent was just about 3 hours and every second (believe me), was worth it!

May 28, 2008PS3 Dual Shock 3 Test & Review
May 28, 2008I bought myself one of these about 2-3 weeks ago. I haven’t been playing my PS3 as much because of all the blogging and LEGO building, but I did get a good test out of this controller with all sorts of tasks. I tested it for:
Sixaxis Functionality (Ratchet & Clank)
General Movement (Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune)
Battery Life (played for 15 1/2 hours before battery died)
Vibration (crashing into people on Grid demo)
I have some pictures that compare the new Dual Shock 3 with the old Sixaxis. To me, there is really no physical difference between the two except the Dual Shock 3 feeling a bit heavier and more substantial. The regular Sixaxis is no longer in production so prices may drop for that and hopefully that will drive Dual Shock 3 prices down and maybe Sony will start bundling new PS3’s with the DS3.
Overall Rating: 5/5 (It’s a perfect controller and is what every PS3 owner should be using to play their games. Did I miss anything?!)
Now all we have to do is hope we get the white and platinum ones here as well, otherwise you can order those at playasia.com.
LEGO 8630: Agents Gold Hunt Build & Review
May 28, 2008I made this last night but it was too late to take pictures so I’m posting them up now. The piece contains 3 mini figures. One agent and two criminals. It contains a monster truck with a hitch attached to a trailer filled with gold. This set also comes with an agents jet fighter. The jet fighter and the monster truck are both top notch quality. The set took me 2 hours to make, it contains 352 pieces. The box is labeled 8630 and item 4516997. It’s mission 3 in the Agents set, which contains a total of 6 missions. It’s one of my favorite LEGO sets so far. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself ![]()

Alfa Romeo MiTo Coming Soon
May 28, 2008Looks like there will be a worldwide release of the upcoming MiTo from Alfa Romeo. At least in the U.S., that will be a breathe of fresh air. We don’t get many Alfa’s around here, at least not in the last 10-20 years. It’s a nice looking car and the performance numbers don’t look too bad either. More information will be revealed in June and July by Alfa. Several engine configurations are being rumored, based off the similarities with the Grande Punto, this car can see any range of turbocharged motors between 1.4 liter and 2.0liters.
. HOORAY!
Top Speed has a very detailed article on it, along with video and a review. Here.
The Perfect Woman Is Actually… A Robot?
May 28, 2008I’m still not 100% sure if this is some kind of massive prank, but everything I have read so far tells me that it is authentic. Two robotics engineers (aka Geeks) Etienne Fresse and Yoichi Yamato started working together 2 years ago and decided to come up with the perfect woman. The company has their own website and everything looks legit. I wont get into the ethics on this, but it’s cool nonetheless. It’s basically a female “companion” for men. She can cook, clean and build a growing bond with her compan.. owner.. er… what would you call yourself? Oh.. her MASTER, yes, that’s the word. lol. No word yet on price, but they are taking pre-orders on “Lisa” on their website: Here.
On June 11th, they will release their first version of Lisa along with all the thousands of micro-sensors she has.
