Here is something absolutely insane: A man named Yves Rossy uses a rocket powered flying device to fly at speeds as high as 186mph. He is the first man to do such a thing and it has taken him years to get to this point. Although he first did so in Spain (2004), he’s done it again, this time over the Swiss Alps. Congratulations Rossy!

I can’t wait to see light saber fights in CGI damnit! The TV series should have more information coming out soon as well.
I built this set last night and figured I would write a review on it. There are two characters that come with the set: Racer X and Taejo. Both look pretty good and Racer X comes with the super bad-ass helmet visor in black. The overall build took me approximately 2 hours (I like to make sure everything is done properly). Racer X’s car is about half an inch longer than Taejo’s car. These two cars are the same size as the other cars in the Ridge Racer line of Racers LEGO’s. This is good because you can have all of them race in the Grand Prix Race set (8161). The quality is excellent with the exception of one piece which was slightly bent and not straight, but I straightened it out by hand. Might have just been a packaging caused problem.
In conclusion, you get two cars and two characters for a good price. Taejo’s car looks slightly better if you ask me, but they both look good. You get a booklet of instructions, stickers and the actual LEGO’s. Not to mention, this set is a must have if you already got the 8161 set. No Grand Prix is perfect without X.
Yesterday some new material and updates were made to the official Lego Universe MMO webpage located here. Browse around and you can also see all of the progress they have made in the recent months. From my impression LEGO MMO is going to be insanely large and include all sorts of cool features such as collecting trinkets, building characters and objects, hanging out with buddies online and meeting new people and building all sorts of crazy LEGO stuff such as obstacle courses and other mini-games. If this game is anything like the previous LEGO Star Wars Saga and upcoming Batman and Indiana Jones LEGO games, it will rock. There is speculation of a descriptive trailer being released at the end of the year and the game itself will be out sometime in 2009. If the fact that they are taking in a lot of user/fan input is any hint, it will be a big success! So go online and vote away at what you do and don’t like. ENJOY!
The concept images only reinforce my opinion that they are putting a lot of time and care into this title. Look for more information soon.
